1. Treffen 2013 - Kartoffelfeld vorbereitet

Am 23.03.2013 fand das erste Treffen der diesjährigen "Kartoffel-Aktion" statt. 11 Kinder und deren Eltern fanden sich trotz eisigem Wind und niedrigen Temperaturen zum Vorbereiten des Feldes ein.

Als erstes mussten sich alle natürlich erstmal darüber klar werden, wie eine Kartoffelpflanze denn überhaupt aussieht. Anhand eines Bildes und den Beschreibungen einiger Kinder, die im letzten Jahr bereits dabei waren und anscheinend einiges gelernt haben wurde die Kartoffelpflanze an sich erst einmal erforscht.

Danach wurde umgegraben. Auf etwas über 10 m² wurde die Erde von Wurzeln und Löwenzahn befreit und umgegraben. Jeder Regenwurm wurde begutachtet und mit dem Wissen, dass er die Erde lockert ins Kartoffelfeld zur Arbeit geschickt.

Wenn beim nächsten Treffen noch einmal Unkraut gejähtet wird und die Saatkartoffeln in die Erde gesetzt werden, muss jedes Kind seine Kartoffelreihe natürlich auch markieren.
Aus diesem Grund wurden Schilder gemalt, laminiert und an Holzpflöcke genagelt und im "Schilderlager" (alter Hasenstall) zwischengelagert.

Viel viel viel interessanter als die Kartoffeln natürlich wie immer: Die Hühner!
